Warrior One (W1) updates: Ryan Ford and Hayato "Mach" Sakurai to compete in 4-man tourney for W1 Welterweight Title and more

After an amazing event in Laval Quebec for W1 5: Judgement Day, I had to call up Jack Bateman and let him know how awesome I thought the event was and give him my congrats!

Talking with W1's President I found out that some BIG things are happening in the World of W1 and Canadian MMA, Here is just a bit of what's in store for W1 future titles:

FeatherWeight:

After an Amazing Fight for the 145 lb Title between John Fraser and Thierry Quenneville, the 145 lb belt has been secured in it's right place around the Waist of the "The Haggis Basher" but that belt has some serious competition coming for it as Anthony Carvahlo and Ivan Menjivar are both Looking great after this past weekends event.
Menjivar after a few years off came back strong and impressive with a triangle choke victory early in the fight to capture a big win in his W1 debut,
Antonio Carvalho was equally impressive in his second straight win in W1 and a very impressive KO over a tough Juan Barrantes.

Welterweight:

As amazing as the Featherweight division in W1 is the Welterweight has got to be the deepest of W1's divisions and easily the Deepest Welterweight division in Canada.
The welterweight division is looking at having a Champion crowned at the end of a 4 man mini Tournament with some of the best in Canada and an amazing new addition to the W1's stacked WW division is "Mach" Sakurai, Pride and UFC veteran and Japanese Superstar, this tournament right now looks to be like this :

Sakurai             Ryan Ford
    vs                       vs
Carlos                  John
Newton               Alessio

The winner of this amazing Mini-tourny will be crowned W1 champion!!

Middle Weight:

There is also some Huge news in W1's Middleweight division, with recent signings and more Huge Stars coming into the mix, you will have to stay tuned for the updates when they are confrimed but believe me when I say This news is BIG, and with once this fight is locked up will lead to a road to a title shot against Denis Kang after his impressive showing on the weekend.
