Chris Clements to face Jonathon Goulet for Ringside Welterweight Title

According to Canadian Pro Fighter's sources, Chris Clements will be challenging for the Ringside Welterweight title in the main event of Ringside 9. The opponent will be Jonathon Goulet, according to Chris. The card is scheduled to take place on November 13 at the Centre Pierre-Charbonneau in Montreal, Quebec.

Chris Clements trains out of Adrenaline and is known for his KO Power in both hands and an exciting style, Chris joins Jesse Gross, one of Chris' top fighters that he trains to compete at Ringside.  Jesse recently defeated Kevin Morin at Ringside 8 earlier this month.

Goulet, a veteran of nine UFC fights, recently defeated a tough Matt MacGrath in quick fashion in Quebec City. The Road Warrior landed a kick and finished MacGrath off with punches to end the fight in less than two minutes

  2. considering Goulet's chin is made of glass and Clements hits like a truck, I gotta go with Clements if he hits him at all, I think Goulet will try to play GSPin this one though, this will be a great fight

  5. this fights been a long time in the making, they were supposed to fight back in the tko days when goulet had the title, I used to train with mency so I know what he is capable of. I dont think we have seen clements at his full potential, I would like to see him open up and let his hands go he's an exellent cmobonation puncher, so he's my pick to win, goulet is a solid ground fighter though, look for chris to keep it standing, let the ko come chris dont look for the one punch k.o
