A former kickboxer, Makdessi now works with St-Pierre's trainer, Firas Zahabi, at Tristar Gym in Montreal, as well as his own team, Team Bull Squad.
Nicknamed "The Bull," Makdessi this past month bested WEC veteran Bendy Casimir on points at MFL 3.
