Georges St- Pierre, UFC star and Montreal native

Georges St. Pierre has proven to be the most dominant fighter in the mixed martial arts welterweight division over the past five years, but the UFC champion is considering switching sports.

St. Pierre is musing about trying out for the Canadian wrestling team for the 2012 Olympics, but won’t make a decision until after he defends his welterweight title against Dan Hardy at UFC 111 on March 27.

“There’s a lot of things I need to think about,” the Montreal fighter told AOL Fanhouse. “My wrestling isn’t good enough to do it as it is right now. It’s not an easy thing to consider.”

St. Pierre said he will need to make up his mind by the summer in order to get into form and try to crack the Canadian roster.
