UFC 113 MONTREAL changes again

Like last year it appears as though the UFC 113 card won't be as first advertised. Griffen vs. Nogueria  is the second BIG fight they have dropped from the card, hopefully they can add a couple more back on.  This is what mmajunkie.com had to say:
Griffin vs. Nogueira likely for UFC 114 in Las Vegas, not UFC 113 in Montreal

An intriguing light heavyweight matchup between perennial fan favorite Forrest Griffin (17-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC) and recent Brazilian import Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (18-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is still happening in May, but both fighters have a few extra weeks to get ready.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned from sources close to Griffin that the contest, which was originally believed to be taking place at UFC 113 in Montreal on May 8, is actually targeted for UFC 114 in Las Vegas on May 29.

Bout agreements for the matchup, which is likely for a co-main event slot, are expected to be finalized shortly.

Griffin comes into the contest on the strength of a split-decision win over previous rival Tito Ortiz at UFC 106 this past November. The razor-thin decision provided an important victory for Griffin after he suffered a devastating knockout to current UFC middleweight champ and Nogueira training partner Anderson Silva.

The win over Ortiz was Griffin's first since defeating Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in July 2008 to claim the UFC's light heavyweight title. Griffin lost the belt in his first defense when Rashad Evans defeated him via third-round TKO.

Meanwhile, Nogueira seeks his second UFC win after stunning countryman Luiz Cane with a "Knockout of the Night" performance on the same card as Griffin's win over Ortiz.

The win was Nogueira' sixth-straight overall, and five of the wins during that current streak have come via stoppage. The twin brother of UFC heavyweight contender Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, "Little Nog's" three career losses have to come to current UFC contenders Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Vladimir Matyushenko, as well as UFC and PRIDE veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou.

It was not immediately clear whether the May 29 booking was a result of a change in plans for the two fighters or whether the UFC had always intended the fight for the Las Vegas show.

With the adjustment, UFC 114 now includes:

Rashad Evans vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson*

Forrest Griffin vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira*

Todd Duffee vs. Mike Russow*

John Hathaway vs. Diego Sanchez*

Efrain Escudero vs. Dan Lauzon*

* - Not officially announced
