(video post) UFC Undisputed 2010

A new-and-improved version of the bestselling "UFC Undisputed" videogame franchise hits store shelves on May 25, and a sneak peek of the game is now available.

Videogame media outlet IGN released an interview with UFC president Dana White that includes some of the updated features – such as the inclusion of southpaw fighters and stances.

Check out the embedded clip as White discusses the game and some of the new features.

The UFC boss said last year's debut version, which hit 3.5 million units sold following the recent holiday season, will quickly become a thing of the past thanks to the improved version. He said the game's makers, THQ, have already made the switch.

"The guys at THQ that play this game daily said they don't even play (the) 2009 (version) because this one is so much better," White said.

Additional new features for the 2010 version include an expanded fighter roster, a redesign of clinch work and ground grappling, better fighter customization, new fighting styles such as Sambo, and better online and tournament modes. "UFC 2009 Undisputed," which won the "Best Individual Sports Game" category at the 2009 VGA Awards, was already considered the best MMA videogame ever made.

"UFC 2010 Undisputed" will be available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
