(fighter profile) Rowan "The Liger" Cunningham- Adrenaline Jiu Jitzu head coach

Adrenaline training center is one of the best MMA gyms in the world, Great stand up, amazing cardio, incredible heart and now a fast improving and well rounded ground game.  Two years ago, when the Gym was still Team Tompkins, all these statements would still apply, except for the great ground game.  While the ground game was not bad, it was no where near where it has evolved to today.  Here at canadianprofighter.com we thought we would bring you a little closer to the man responsible for this amazing transformation of Ontario's favorite gym. He is the head jiu jitzu instructor and private trainer Rowan Cunningham( I have personally hired him and was amazed at how fast I improved) ...

4- How long have you been fighting MMA? And what is your backround? - fighting for 5yrs, background is bjj



5- Where do you train? And what skill sets do you favour? - I train at Adrenaline Training Center. The best part of my mma game is my grappling



6- What is your fight record? - 6wins 3losses



7- What was your best fight? and worst? and why? - best fight - Jake Short, worst fight - Fabio Holanda => got flustered early and didn't regain my composure.



8- What is your main skill set? - bjj



9- Which would you like to improve the most? - all aspects of the fight game


                                        
10- When and Where and Who is your next fight? - no plans

11- What is your main training goal? - improve my skills and be the most complete athlete i can be.



12- What advice do you have for new fighters here in Canada? - learn french! Quebec is the place to be.



13- Do you think Canada is producing the best fighters in the world? and why? - Southern Ontario is the most talent rich area, due to population density. Everywhere in Canada mma is attracting excellent athletes at younger and younger ages.



14- What is the biggest hurdle ahead of you in the ring/cage? No hurdles right now... I don't have any fights in the immediate future.



15- What advice do you have for any up and comming fighters? - surround yourself with the most knowledgeable people you can. you will somewhere in 1yr that would take you 3yr's somewhere else, and 5yrs trying to figure it out on your own.



16- Who is your favorite and least favorite fighter? favorite fighter - Tadem McCrory - he's some sort of lunatic nerd and he's hilarious, least favorite - Chris Clements!! jk, mad props to anyone with the stones to come and throw down.

17- Anyone in particular you would like to fight withing the next yr? - Opera

18- If you wern't gonna be a fighter what would you want to do? be a garbage man, you get to throw garbage around
